The Student Senate ratified the final vote of last week’s senior elections on Monday, April 30, and formally announces its executive officers for the 2018-19 academic year:
Jamison Jarosz — president, math and science major
Al Ahmad Cheema — vice president, engineering science major
Brendan Caluneo — treasurer and student trustee, criminal justice major
Maeve Uhalde — secretary, human services major.
The executive officers will serve a term beginning June 1, 2018 and ending May 31, 2019.
The Student Activities Office and Student Senate congratulate all the candidates on what was one of the closest races in each position in recent years.
Special recognition is also extended to current executive officers, all of whom will graduate on May 12 with plans to continue their studies towards their baccalaureate degree: Nathaniel Savasta, president and student trustee, business major; Thomas Nevins, vice president, business major; Max Morand, treasurer, business major, and Kyle Hudson, secretary, business major.
